Gueydan provides its residents with electricity, gas, water and sewerage. A utility deposit of $275 is required unless proof of property ownership is provided.  Utility bills are mailed on the last working day of the month and become delinquent upon the 16th of the month. Delinquencies are subject to disconnection without further notice. Contact Gueydan City Hall for more information.

Trash & Household Garbage

Waste Connections will pick up trash on Thursday mornings. Please put your trashcan on the side of the road on Wednesday nights. The Street Department will pick up branches and household garbage.

Permits & Licenses

Licenses for liquor, beer and occupational vending purposes are required for operation. Check with Gueydan City Hall for specific information required.
